PT12 Icon controller sluggish, works in PT10
Hi,
I'm using a Icon Qcon ProX controller and generally love it. Nevertheless, since last week I found that sometimes it doesn't work well with PT 12.6, now 12.6.1 anymore. The faders seem slow, reactions are often delayed, it makes huge fader jumps as a result, buttons react way later, no fun. It's not (directly?) related to the CPU usage as I have the same issues in empty or pretty much empty PT sessions. Unfortunately, I can't remember whether it started with the 12.6 update or before on 12.5 as I did a few things in PT10 in between, where it seems to work fine, with the same PT sessions. Any ideas? Mac Pro (early 2009, OSX 10.8.5, PT 12.6.1, enough RAM and CPU), sessions in 44.1 or 48kHz/24-bit, between 10-25 tracks, mostly Slate, Waves and Softube plugins (including Console 1). As mentioned, it works fine in PT10 as well as Samplitude on PC/Bootcamp. Thanks, Peter |
