Default Session keeps freezing on opening when it is "Restoring Audio Engine Settings"

Okay guys i got a new computer and external hardrive all optimized for audio production

for my first time opening pro tools everday i will get this 1115 error , but that only happends the first time i open pro tools, but it allows me to open it right after..

so i am trying to make sure everything runs smoothly before i throw all my audio files on my new external drive..
i just loaded PT 7.4 for xp .

my new computer has 3 drives, one system drive , for audio and one sample drive, i took one of my pro tools session folder, "one of my songs " and moved one to my external drive and one on my audio drive ,but it doesnt matter where i try opening it , it still freezes when saying
"Restoring Audio Engine Settings"

this is my new computer with the specs

and this is my external hardrive ,

How do you have your Glyph hooked up?
Also make sure there are no cd's in your drive...mine hung on "initializing databases" the other day 'cause I had a cd in the tray. odd.

okay there are a lot of things to choose from that could be the problem ,,, i followed this

"DAE -6096 or DAE -1115, FireWire communication problems.
On some Windows XP computers, if a DAE error -6096 or -1115 occur, or you experience random communication problems between Digi 002 and Pro Tools, try disabling "PCI to DRAM prefetch" in the BIOS Setup utility.

This can be found in the BIOS > Advanced > Chip configuration "

but in my bios , advanced setting , there is NO chip configuration option , could it be called something else..

Still trying and still confused !

Anyone??!?!?!
