Default ProTools LE cs updates
About to upgrade to LE 6.4. After that I plan to install the cs updates v5,6,7.

Do I need to install all the previous cs updates to?

No, just put in cs5,6,7 after you put in 6.4. I know this takes a bit longer, but I like to restart the machine after each piece is loaded. My system has been very stable doing that.

Note: Users should also download and install the Pro Tools LE 6.4cs6 Plug-in Updater. Those fixes are not included with 6.4cs7. It does not matter if you install the Pro Tools 6.4cs6 Plug-In Updater before or after Pro Tools 6.4cs7.
So you only need to install 6 and 7

Sorry to be such an uninformed user, but...why is it necessary to install these *.cs updates ?
I'm on the basic 6.4, without any problems...
Can some one clue me in , please ?

Andrew, check that page that I linked, it lists all of the little (or big, in some cases) fixes.

I only do xfers and back ups at home. Very little editing.
Haven't experienced any of those ...
The studio's Mac is up to date...
