Please help with Midi abc-s
Hi , i was wondering if i could get some help controling my virtual instruments using my midi keyboard .............. i connect it thru a midi to usb interface so that i can play the virtual instruments that come with pro tools 8.
up until now my macbook pro recognizes the device in my midi aplications on utilities, i play a key and get a beep sound , (when i test the device) , but i have no clue on how to actually play it on pro tools...... i tried the mini grand that comes with PT8 but nothing , ...... am i missing something basc? Sounds like you might be missing the manual!
Create an Aux input track and put your VI plug-in on it. Create a MIDI track and set its input to be your keyboard controller and it's output to the VI plug-in. If the above doesn't work, I suggest the search function here on the DUC. Good luck! |
