What Midi interface do think is best for protools 7.1?

Hey guys,

I've been trying to search for an answer on this. I've searched the DUC and the net to the best of my ability. I also tried looking at the compatibility section, but couldn't find an answer. I need a midi interface for my Dual 2.0 G5 3.5 Gig ram, Protools 7.1/002r... and don't know what will work the best with it.

The options I am considering: Ediroll UM3ex (3in/3out), Motu Microlite, Emu xmidi 2x2 and midi sport 2x2 or 4x4. Do all of those work equally as well with protools? Is the timing tighter with one over the other (microlite has midi time stamping but I didn't know if that would work just with Digital Performer).

The *only* standalone interface in the world to support timestamping in Pro Tools is Digidesign's own MIDI IO...

...and they've discontinued it.

Well that's unfortunate. Is there any of the interfaces that I mentioned in particular that you would recommend now?

I was also looking at the new Tapco midilink4x4. I need to spend under $150, hopefully a lot less (thus the reason why I was looking at the Emu 2x2. Thanks again for any suggestions
