Default Firmware Upgrade Crisis!!

I am using the Command 8 with the factory installed firmware 1.0. As I proceeded to upgrade the firmware to digi's latest version 2.0, something went bad. Now when I try to boot up the command 8 not much happens. Some of the rotary lights come on and a few of the faders begin to run their start up proceedure. In the menu section of the command 8, I get a row of orange blocks and occasionally I get a few random characters in place of a few of the blocks. I even tried to reinstall the old firmware version 1.0 but the software always errors to communicate with the command 8. If anywone has encountered this before, or if you might have any ideas as to what can be done to get this thing up and online again please let me know.

Thanks,
Just333
