Default System hard disk space low !!

Hai!
Here’s a doubt!!
While working with Digi001, open the system disk space window. Say you have 4 Gb space in hard disk E. Record something on that hard drive. It shows that the drive immediately reduces to 200 Mb. (that’s what the system disk space window shows) Why does this occur? Is there any setting that I have to do to correct this problem? I found this while I was working with XP. Then when I worked with Win98 I found the same thing there too. In XP a warning note comes while we record that the hard disk is out of space or low.
HELP!!!
Thanx in advance !
Reji..
