Default Tdm Connection?, Help?

I own a digi 001 console which i just inherited.
Whenever I launch Protools it always says
"A track has an invalid TDM connection. Make sure all tracks are assigned to a valid output"
then Protools shuts down

what does this meen?
and how do I fix it?
