So Avid Vocal will not recognize Delta cards???

Please someone tell me I am inept and that there IS a way to configure Avid Vocal to record through my M-freakin-Audio Delta 1010 card...!

What a complete joke...and interesting that Moderators respond to other Threads except for the Threads with this query.

So, tell tell, is the Delta 1010 card not compatible with Avid Vocal Studio?

I believe that it will only work with the supplied interface. Hence the price. If you want to use your delta card purchase a copy of Pro Tools M-Powered and you can use it just fine. M-Powered 8 is easy to find on eBay.

Hello Dave,
I'm assuming you mean the Pro Tools SE software is not working with the Delta 1010. It will not work with the Delta 1010. Here is a list of compatible interfaces:
* Fast Track (inlcuded with Avid Recording Studio)
* USB Micro (included with Avid KeyStudio)
* Producer USB (included with Avid Vocal Studio)
* MobilePre (includes Pro Tools SE software)

I actually have one of those. I purchased a MAC version of Pro Tools 7 w/ iLok.

I never did get the MAC, but I still have the iLok (and software)...

Is there something I can do with this etup?

You should be able to use the Delta 1010 and the 7.3 asset. I beleive you should be able to download the PC installer for free from Avid.

If you registered 7.3 you should have download links in your My Digi/MyAvid account.

You can also buy the upgrade to 8 from the store for 150 dollars from 7. So you have that option as well.
