Default 12 hour time limit

is there still a 12 hour time limit for sync/TC recording on HD?
is the solution to record from 00 to 11:45:00;00 at 48k?

dunno' bout the actual record legnth, but HD systems still only allow 12 hours (max) in the defualt session length.
