OT: The War Starts...

Here we go. I hope as few people as possible are hurt or killed. I also hope our troops all return home, healthy and alive.

As a Canadian, may I just say Godspeed to the American troops and wish them success in their mission with minimal casualties.

It's too bad that Bush wants to create war for peace. Kind of ironic, don't you think? I too hope that there are few casualties on either side of the war.

But remember people, CNN doesn't give you the whole story. There is always two sides. CNN has a way of twisting info and creating a "point of view" to maintain national pride (for Americans). Even though "So Damn Insane" is up to no good, that doesn't mean his people are evil, just scared to oppose thier leader.

Well, Jayman, I dont want to turn this thread into a post-war, because it has its good intentions, but Saddam needs to be outed, and he refuses to give up his tyranny-seat. I think its interestly ironic that his troops are already surrendering to our Ally's, even though the war hadnt technically begun when they did that.

I support everything my leader things is right. I will wait till after the results before I make slanderous remarks of his performance and decisions as opposed to making them prematurely.

The World Police are now doing the job no one wants them to do. I wish them the best of luck! This should be a very short war. One of the things the USA has going for it, in addition to its incredible military might, is the people of Iraq don't like Saddam either...nothing like fighting a Civil war as your country is being invaded! May we enjoy peace for another 10 years (at least)after this.

As a Canadian, I am proud to say that my country is not supporting this war.
