Default Cheap Mastering?

Hello.

Is there a cheap/free method of mastering without having to spend a grand on software?

Thankyou.

Yes, spend $500 and have your project mastered by a pro mastering engineer.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Yes, I DO.

As I prefer my Alesis M1mk2 Actives over my ex Mackie 824's.
As I prefer Cubase SX over Logic if i had to start over sans PT.

I do like Waves, no denying that, but many AB tests later, I find T-Racks to yield better results, albeit with some more judicious tweaking. Waves does offer more control, but I love the sound of T-Rax. I hope that doesn't cause too much contraversy.

No rolleyes needed. I like this instead --->

Is the waves masters a seperate set? Or a platinum only deal. Platinums out of my price range.

I do believe the mastering bundle comes seperate. I love the waves mastering bundle. The L2 limiter is much better than the L1, and eq and multi band compressor are great.
