Eleven Mk2 ....

finally purchased Eleven Mk2 ilok license,
i have a perpetual HD license, that allows to buy an Eleven Mk2 full retail license at a very good price / deal.



but i have bi-polar mixed emotions about Eleven Mk2...


Eleven Mk2 comes free for 1 year with an Active Support Plan,
but i have perpetual license without support plan = No Eleven Mk2 unless buy an ilok license.


instead of purchasing a $999usd. support plan for 1 year,

its cheaper to buy a perpetual Eleven Mk2 license...
also its cheaper than purchasing multiple Eleven Rack units.
its a No brainer.


The things i like:
1. Its the same as the Eleven Rack Hardware with v2.0 Firmware.
2. Has separated Speaker Cabinet Emulation plugin, Awesome.
3. Eleven Mk2 has Age / Speaker wear... fader control, Awesome.
4. Mk2 license comes in bundle with Mk1 license... great backward compatibility.


The things i dont like:
1. Mk2 installer does Not have AAX32 nor AAX32-DSP = cannot be used in PT HD10.3.10


Only Eleven Mk1 can be used in PTHD10.3.10,
Mk1 its an incomplete version of the Mk2, less cabinets, less mics, etc...
similar to an Eleven Rack with older v1 Firmware.


2. Speaker cabinet emulator plugin does Not have the Age / Speaker wear Fader control of the complete Eleven Mk2 Plugin. Disappointing.




Alternatives:
Line6 POD Farm 2.5 and Helix Native does Not have TDM nor AAX-DSP.
plugin-alliance has AAX-DSP, AAX32, does Not have separated speaker cabinet emulator. V3 is multi-emulation, other plugins are 1 emulation per plugin.

Peavey Revalver Mk, unknown,
Softube Amp Room,
Positive Grid Bias Amp2 Elite.. No AAX32, No AAX-DSP.
