soundblaster uninstalled

Hey People,

I am receiving a pretty lengthy buffer error saying something about more memory for buffering and when i click continue anyways i receive the DAE 1196(i think) controlled error and pro tools closes.

heres what i am working with:

pro tools 5.3.3 w/ mbox
windows xp home edition
sound blaster audigy 2
amd processor
896 mb ram
160 gb hard drive

can someone please help me?

Sorry I do not have more specs on my system but the sandra software will not open after bein installed 3 times. I have unstalled the sound blaster audigy 2 like asked and I am still receiving the buffer errors. anyone have any ideas what else I can try?

Very strange that you can not load and run the Sandra diagnostic. Could something else be going on with your system? How about a virus or spyware?? Do you have any other strange happenings going on?

Have you done all the tweaks in the 'trouble shooting' sticky thread at the top of this forum? If not..do so.

nothin else strange going on... I dont have the internet on the same computer. so i dont think its a virus and there is no spyware on the system i use for PT.. so heres the deal. i downloaded sandra then burnt it to cd and then installed it on the system i use for PT and it does nothing just dont open. i even tried openin it on the computer i actually downloaded it to and nothing. i have redownloaded 3 times. am I maybe doing something wrong with the downloading?
