I don't have an answer for you, but I'm curious; where did you get loops at 32-bit? And why were they produced at 32-bit? I mean, I understand the technical advantages of 32-bit, but it's definitely not an audio standard, and definitely not an expected bit rate, either by the programs or the people that use them. Just makes me curious as to why someone would create them that way in the first place.

You could try Adobe Audition. I know it does batch converting. Not sure about 32 to 24 bit.

Cheers,

spkguitar i know what your saying my friend, and i dont see the need for it, but i bought these loops from a studio in the mid east, and i did not know that they were 32 bit, thinking like you that almost most people record with 24 bits....so no idea? i have adobe, it does read them, but it will take me for ever to convert them one by one, maybe im out of luck...

There's supposed to be batch conversion capability in Adobe Audition, not sure if it's all versions. There is even a template you can set up to name the files.

Cheers,

Sound Forge 9 has a batch conversion process and it will also deal with 32-bit files
