Default Grid won't conform to identify beat markers in PT10

Hi,

I'm using Protools 10.2.0 on an iMac 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7.

I am creating a grid for a track which was not recorded to a click. I do this regularly and normally it works fine. But today the grid won't conform to the new tempo markers I have created using identify beat.

screenshot should be attached...

Anyone got any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Blurry, but from what I can tell you have the grid set to Min:Sec. Select Bars|Beats.

Why are you using 10.2 instead of 10.6?

No it's on bars and beats. It doesn't make any difference. (Bars and beats is greyed out and ticked so there's no way of deselecting it.) I can select mins/secs too but whatever I select the grid doesn't change.

I'm on 10.2 because I haven't got round to updating.

Is conductor turned on? and are your tracks set to ticks?

I figured it out. I hadn't set the bars to whole bars in 'identify beat'. Duh. I was expecting PT to guess that I wanted my markers to be at the start of bars.

Operator error. Thanks for the help though.
