Locking 001 to Yamaha AW4416

Does the Yamaha send MMC? If so just connect Midi In/Midi Out to and from both units, run OMS(new) and set up Yamaha as "sends" and "receives" MMC and MTC. If the Yamaha doesn't automatically appear when running OMS, fret not. It probably won't so you have to create it during OMS file creation, then drag it next to 001 ? icon and make sure the "midi lines" are going both to and from both devices. Save this OMS set-up and that should do it. Then you must go into PT LE and set this info in and then go into the Session Setup window and choose the Yamaha for this. I think that's it. Sorry I'm giving you a very generic set-up for this. I'm in a hurry and have to go now. If you can't get it to work, just write back later and either me or someone else on this forum will get back to you.

Just wondering if i can lock the Digi001 to my Yamaha AW4416 using MTC? Id like to use the lightpipe to transfer 8 channels to and from Protools. Is this workable?
