I suppose it'll be good for Digi. Apple will probably drive them out of the game like they're doing to Emagic. But yet again, it's only a rumor.

I doubt apple will be coming out with a pro audio app when they just took over emagic and made logic pro 7

Have you seen Apple's stock lately? Remember, they are a music store, THE music player, best sequencing software (I am biased, sorry), and a hellava powerful computer system. Once again, I am saying Apple is BECOMMING the "Pro Audio Industry". Of course, this can all turn on a dime.

I think you may be on to something....I am trying to be cool ...but my gut feelings and what I see happening...say to me that apple/Emagic is just beginning to make some very Major moves...I mean I've heard rumors that Emagic might discontinue their Hardware...that would be insane(especially the Unitor/amt midi interfaces)...they are among the best Midi interfaces out there in my opinion...I can't see Apple investing as much energy in LP7 and just leave all the hardware support to 3rd party developers...especially when they have the background and resources to develope their own...I think 2005 will be very interesting...if Apple were to aquire Apogee(One of the premiere AD/DA convertors....I could see where they might let the Emagic faction concentrate on the software...and move Apogee..to pure Hardware developement ...sharing all the knowledge and experience of all three of the major entities involved...But I'm just speculating...So please nobody jump down my throat...But I think the next 6 to 12 months may change the whole..Digital Terrain....We will See...

Yes True. I guess because they cant monopolize the computer industry (microsoft) they just take over the digital music empire!
