1706 no valid source could be found

Help can anyone advise what I need to do to be able to use my ilok and use my pro tools.
I have installed le 7.4 pro tools on my sony vaio with vista home premium and then learnt I needed to get an iLok to use/authorise my pro tools which I now have,
I've registered an account ok with ilok, then downloaded the drivers 32 folder for vista but when I try to run it I get the following messages '1706 no valid source could be found for iLok client helper' and also 'fatal error 1603 could not find a file on the specified path', after many attempts to re-install I'm at a loss as to what to try next? My ilok came without a disk and everytime Ive tried to download off the internet pace website still nothing happens, should I re-register or should I remove everything off my system and re-install everything including pro tools all over again or is there something I've not got quite right, as you can imagine this has been very frustrating any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Woah. Stop right there. You do not need an ilok to run Pro Tools LE. Pro Tools LE uses an authorization code, not the ilok. The only thing you need an ilok for when running Pro Tools LE is for additional plugins and software that you have purchased.

Did you also download the ilok client software? Registering an account with them is an important step, but you also need to install the client software, which is different from the drivers. Here's a direct download link

As I mentioned in your other post, and also above, you need to install the ilok client sofware to get the ilok working, but you DO NOT need the ilok to get Pro Tools LE working. Pro Tools LE will open without the ilok.
