Default McDsp Compressor or Filter Bank

Simple question for those using these babies? I have the money to buy one, which one would you choose?

If I could only choose one.. it would be Filterbank. I love it.

Send them a note and they will get you trial licenses on both. See which one works best for you.

Blessings!

I would have to say compressorbank actually. Filter bank is REALLY great, but it's not my only EQ. I would definitely give up filterbank before compressorbank. I'd suggest downloading the demo's if you haven't already and check em out for a bit. I think you get a little more bang from compressorbank. Or save up and get one of the native bundles!

Russ,

if you buy the LE bundle this month then they will bump one of the plugs up to the full version. You will get cut down versions of all the native plugs plus one full native.

Russ, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

The offer was, if you bought the project bundle, they would upgrade any one of the plugs to full native for free (So thats Filterbank or Compressorbank bagged). It's the same price $295..........

Also, there is an offer if you have the project bundle then you can upgrade any two of the plugs to full native for just $195.

Great deals to be had, they're always trying to get you to crossgrade from the project bundle so it's worth having if only for that reason.

I did read it carefully Doug, I was offered them @ £99 which is all I had.

Thats cool.....phew.

I was concerned that a fellow Pro Tooler had just dropped $295 on a single native plug.

Whats the deal with a £99 plug, i didn't see that on the news letter that came through today?

The MC2000 is sweet, as is the ML4000..

I'm very happy with McDSP.. their plugs and the people that work for them. Nice folks.

Blessings!
