Default Need some help with PT 6.9 -mbox- powerbook G4

Hello all who might help! I am new to the forum, and fairly new to Pro Tools. I've been editing on a powermac g4 tower for a couple of months. I recently bought a used powerbook G4 (1.5 Ghz Power PC G4, 2GB DDR SDRAM) running ) 0SX 10.3.9

I loaded PT le 6.9 but the program won't launch? The protools icon in the dock has a "?" over top of it! Any one familiar with this problem, or have suggestions on how to resolve it?

Thanks a million!!!

Just a plain old mbox? I think that is what you are asking me?

Thanks!

Have you tried launching Pro Tools directly from the Applications folder where it is installed? It could be that the icon in your dock is referencing a version no longer installed on your system.

In order to get Pro Tools to launch on 10.3.9 you need to ensure that the latest version of Quicktime you have is 6.5.2, if you have gone above this then it's game over. If you are on QT 7.0.1 i believe there is a reinstaller but past that it's an archive and install or a restore.

Cheers
