Spirit digital 328 pre amps vs 002

Do you guys know, which one has better converters, digi 002 or 328?And is there any difference between 001 and 002 adat ports quality?I own digi 001.

I have two set-ups. One with a 002r and a 01v96 mixer. The other with a 001 and 328 mixer.

The newer generation 002r/01v96 set-up sounds much better. The major drawback with the 328 is that it only operates at 16 bit. A digital mixer is great, but you lose out if it is only 16 bit.

As far as I know, the ADAT connections should be very similar in the 001 and 002r, though if you are using the A/D, the 002r are much better than the 001.

The pre's in the 328 are better than the 001, but not as good as the 002r.

I think there´s a 24 bit version of 328´s too...

What about Focusrite-Octopre vs 328(24bit) pre-amps?
Is there anybody tested those differences?

The Spirit 328 was one of the worst sounding consoles I've ever passed signal thru.
The pre's in the 001 were slightly better to me but the 002 pre's are much, much better sounding.

This is just my opinion but I would avoid the 328 at all costs.

Not trying to slam anyone here who has one but I was appalled at how bad the 328 compared to
the Ramsa, O2r and d8b digital consoles.
