Default Windows 7 does not recognize Mbox 2 rivers. Hepl me please !!!

Hello,

I'm trying to install Digidesign audio drivers on Windows 7, but after I install and restart my computer it doesn't show up in Control Panel's Sound settings, but it does show up in Device Manager. I know that's weird, but I've tried pretty much every driver from Digidesign's website.

If anybody knows how to install this drivers please guide me step by step.

Thanks in advance,
Hovak

Exactly what drivers are you trying to install? Installing "pretty much every driver from Digidesign's website" is going to get you nowhere.
You need the audio drivers included in Pro Tools LE version 8.0.4cs2 for Win 7.

The thing is, that I don't wont to use Pro Tools software on my PC. I use Nuendo on my PC and Pro Tools on my MAC. but I still need my Mbox 2 to work on PC as well.

BUT the only way to get the drivers (or is that rivers?) to install correctly is install EVERYTHING.

If I install Pro Tools 8 LE, am I gonna have Asio drivers as well ? Cause right now I installed Standalone audio drivers and everything works fine but the audio drivers. I don't have and can't find any Asio drivers for Mbox 2. please recommend me what to do.

Thanks
