New Eleven rack user
I recently added the Eleven rack to my studio. Very pleased. I also purchased the expansion pack. I use both a Bogner and a Matchless live and was anxious to compare. I find them very close, but wanted to try comparison live. I downloaded the expansion to my studio mack. In setting up my live rig, I am using a pair of Bogner one twelves and a Mesa stereo power amp. I loaded my MacBook Pro with the LE software that came with the Eleven Rack and fired it up. Sounds amazing except for no expansion pack. Can someone tell me what to do to get the expansion pack for my live use. Thank you Meredith

Is this correct? Did you install the ERXP before installing Pro Tools? Was the ERXP installed on a different computer, then the Macbook in question now? Either way, what you need to do is run the ERXP again, just the first part (assuming you have already updated the Firmware) just delete the firmware updater that gets placed on your desktop. BUT before you do that, be sure to update Pro Tools LE to 8.0.5 OR if you are on PT9, then update to 9.0.5 Pro Tools 8.0.5 Downloads and Details Do NOT install PT9.0.5 if you do not already have PT9.x.x already installed. PT9 is a paid upgrade, PT LE 8.0.5 update is free Pro Tools 9.0.5 Update Eleven Rack Expansion Pack (ERXP) FAQ

Re: New Eleven rack user
well i dont know why it would not read from a disk. Did you drag it to your desktop first, instead of trying to run it from the disk?
Try a USB stick, be sure to grab the whole zipped filed, transfer to your computer, unzip, then run the first part. Or just download it again from your Avid account. Uncompress, and run the first section. You can trash the Firmware updater that gets placed on your desktop since you have already updated the firmware.

Re: New Eleven rack user
Just download it again from your Avid account if you want to and just run the first part not the firmware update.

You can download it to any Mac or PC. Its just that the Firmware updater will only run on the computer you used to update the firmware on. Dont confuse updating the Firmware with running the first section of the ERXP, which requires no S/N or ID code. To update the UI files that are needed to show the ERXP items in the PT 11R Window, you run the ERXP. That updates the UI files and places the Firmware updater on your desktop. You have already updated the firmware, so you do not need to ever run the firmware updater again. You can run the First section of the ERXP on as many computers that you want to use your ERXP updated 11R on.
