Default If you were mixing 3 songs this week, top 3 plugins?

I know this is subjective, but other than the standard hd and plugin pack I don't have any great comps or eq's. I'm mixing inside HD so if you had 4 days to mix 3 songs, which plugins do you consider must have? For now I'll keep it to $1500 or so, but one more thing, where do you buy them? From digi, or direct, or...which is the best deal?
Thanks for your help,
daniel

My must have -

McDSP Filter Bank
Compressor Bank
Analog Channel
MC2000

and . . . DaD Tape and Valve.

Check with dealers and on the web. Most are priced within $10-$20 bucks of each other.

Never hurts to check the used market also (legit used market - get auth disks and reg transfers)

Only 3 plugs?

For EQ/Comp the question is if you have enough DSP Power.

If Yes:
SonyEQ
SonyComp

If no:
Filterbank
Compressorbank

for the third Plugin it depens what you need. Reverb: Altiverb or Reverb one
Chorus: Wave Mechanics Soundblenders
?

If you dont have any outboard gear youll need at least the following:

For EQ: Filterbank
For compression: Compressorbank
Reverb: R-ONE
Chorus-Delay: WaveMechanics
Master Fader: L2

If you have a PT|HD3 "maybe" SonyOxfords, they are like 3.5 expensive than McDSP's but I dont think they perform 3.5 times better than McDSP's... its all hype....

Thanks guys for all of the helpful responses!
I have HD1 so I do have to watch the resources.
I will be using external fx,a lexi 81,an mpx-1, an eventide eclipse and some analog stuff.
I kinda figured it was between the mcdsp and sonys. I was also wondering about the fairchild and the inflator, maybe not as much utility value in those? Also waves L2, is that pretty much THE ONE you guys use on the master fader? Will the Mcdsp comp bank do 2 buss too?
I haven't seen the sony and mcdsp stuff at many online places, I assume mostly proaudio dealers would have them? thanks again
daniel
