Error -1119 in Protools 6 LE, need user reports!

It appears that there's a relatively common bug in PT 6 LE that prevents initiating the DSI (Digi System Init), reporting an error -1119. According to a search of this forum, Digi's only suggestion to fix the problem is to "make sure date and time are set correctly" - read: "We don't have a clue"

Given Digi's track record for fixing bugs, including the abandonment of the beige G3 by the Digi001, I think it's safe to assume it's up to us to pin down the problem.

Let's start with a full description of any system that is or has demonstrated the -1119 error, including any installations that required you to restart the computer, and especially any changes you made that fixed the problem.

Someone reported that an uninstall and re-install of Quicktime fixed their issue, could you please be more specific?

I also notice my Protools CD installs version 6.0x428. That better not be a beta.
