Default Pro Tools 2020.3 Buggy !

Hello,

This version really did destabilize my workflow ....

the GUI feels lagging and buggy ... CPU spikes randomly ....

How can I get back to Pro Tools 2019.12 ?? Any Installer ?

OK I reinstalled Pro Tools 2019.12 using the Pro Tools 2019.12 installer but without uninstalling 2020.3 first ... is there anything I should fix on my mac to make it optimal ?

On the first launch it gave me a dialog box saying that few ambi plugins are not found or something and asked me to move them to unused folder ... never heard of those plugins btw or had them installed ...

Please advise if there is any settings I should fix to get 2019.12 running as solid as before

If I were you I would make a clean installation of PT (not of the whole OS). You should move the plugins into a different folder then navigate everywhere and delete any Avid folder and items ( the app in the app folder, the folder in the app support, the folder in the user>shared, the folder in documents and the pref. I don't remember but take a look at app support in the user lib). Then install the version you want, lunch it and let it install its core plugins. Last step, re-move your plugins into the plugins folder (you will then be asked to replace the core plugins that PT has re-created).

well seems there are no issues with 2019.12 after reinstalling it over 2020.3 ...

Think I got away with it
