Sorry if I´m of topic, but since the thread seem to lead a bit towards mastering...

Anybody tried the T-racks, and whats your opinion

Keep in mind that what works for one mixer won't work for all mixers.

Everytime I hear someone's mix I love, I ask them what the used and I can't believe it. I hate that crap. It's unusable.

I personally hate the Waves stuff (except for Enigma) but everyone around here seems to love it.

I have never been that impressed by the 1176. (Real One)

Am I right. No

I guess it's all about what you get use to and knowing how to get around the various idiosyncrasies. I have an original, Like new, 1176 LN, that I can count the times I've used it on one hand in the last 2 years.. But when I do need it it works great.. Sometimes there's a lot of hype around equipment.. But in the end it's all about knowing how to get what you need out of what you're use to and have on hand.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Brilliant but as standalone, not plugins.

Usually, if one set compressors don't work, T-Racks does work. Funny plug. On some songs does brilliant work. On some... nah!!!

Worth having!

T racks... I agree.. In some kind of songs it works great (heavy stuff)... on others.. it doesn't sound good...
