ProTools 10 on Lion. Any feedback?
Good morning! Just wanted to see if any of you installed it on Lion and if so how is your experience going? I had some quirks with PT9 on Lion but really minor, can't complain

Works great on 10.7.2 here. Definitely the most stable version of Pro Tools I've had running in a long time!

Just back from AES. All of the demo rigs from Avid and Waves were on Lion.

Re: ProTools 10 on Lion. Any feedback?
I installed yesterday and have been pretty solid since.
I'm running a late 2009 iMac 21.5", Digi 003R and Artist Mix controller. And I'm on Lion 10.7.2. I got one crash yesterday when I tried to render some clip gain and fades. It was an option I got when right clicking on the selected clips. I tried it out and BAM! But that's the only glitch so far. |

Waiting on my download to finish so I can set it up. Thanks so much for the feedback guys. Hopefully I don't encounter any issues.
(Mac Pro early 2009 8-Core, Lion 10.7.2 with Firewire 410) I'll post my results and my experience once its all setup. |

How did you do the upgrade? I'm going Lion and PT10 but would like to know which to install first?
Thanks |

Pro Tools 10 and Lion:
Pro Tools is doing some quirky things. I just tried to open Pro Tools with out having an interface and it said that my internal soundcard does not support 48 hz. I never set it to 48 hz. In fact I set it to 44. Just irritating. I have been using Pro Tools since 6 and another thing I hate is that I have to have the iLok hooked up to run the program. That would not be a problem on a tower with several USB ports but on my MacBook it is a nuisance. Sounds like I have more complaints than good things to say. I hope with the future CS updates they fix the problems. |

IMHO, Pro Tools 8 was the most stable. PT10 is still quirky. Hopefully they will fix it with CS updates.

Re: ProTools 10 on Lion. Any feedback?
PT10 on Lion seems as stable as 8 on Snow Leopard. I skipped 9.
