once again, of course. 12.8.1 will come before 12.9. The thread is about 12.9.

Well when it comes to that, I'm hoping for the track folders and/or MIDI enhancements mentioned on their roadmap.

That's me anyways.

Sorry but when I look at PT over the past 2 years since the subscription model began I'm left wondering if Avid actually is developing the product anymore. Seriously, what an embarrassment. Remember in years past when around the December time frame they'd do a big announcement of a new version with great new plugins and features. What the heck are subscribers paying for these days? Where is the value-add for our hard earned green Avid?

I really like the latest PT version because of the bug fixes and stability - which btw should have been fixed long ago. But I have to renew my license in December and this time I have mixed feelings about it. I have had no use for any of the new features in the latest version. It's a lot of money to use for nothing, so unless something new shows up I might be off the license wagon.

As for me. I repeat myself, but if the midi features are not there, it's over. I do not renew. Because: Avid promised. Clearly promised. If, again, the mountain gives birth to a mouse, the choice is great: Studio One, Cubase, Logic, Reaper, and even Sonar, with new features of Midi handling.

Maybe it's for Music, all post studios and freelancers in NZ that I know are on PT 12.6 or higher.
