So, if you are on Yosemite, with HD hardware, you can't use your HD hardware with Cubase, Logic or other DAWS?

Which begs the question...

"what is my support contract supposed to be doing again?"

Being a native user only, perhaps I don't fully understand the issue.
I'm sure if a simple solution was available, the secret would be out by now.
I use Rogueamoeba's airfoil to play music throughout the house and outside for parties and such. It's a useful program and the sync is right on.

I know they make other software to route and capture sound within the Mac. I just looked, and their loopback program is available for a free trial. Perhaps it would help with playing iTunes through your DAW and other.

HI!
It's Such a bummer to have Symphony I/O MKII, HDX Card, GREAT Studio Acoustics, great set of monitors... but still not be able to listen to hi resolution albums or even watch a video....
At home I have a Symphony I/O MKII too, but connected via Thunderbolt and great monitors too, and can watch youtube, video, HD TRACKS, Spotify... you name it...
I think it is such a basic functionality that cannot be ignored!!!!!
Thanks Avid, again, for tracking things, or not keeping up to the expectation.

Nothing official, but I've heard some tweets that CA support is coming very near Sierra support. Don't mark my words though, just that I heard they have advanced with this project...
