Default Protools 11.1.1 wants to do a firmware update on HDX cards
My system is wanting to do a firmware update on my HDX cards for the 11.1.1 install (Mavericks Partition). This system is running a co-install PT 10.3.7 and 11.0.2 on another partition (OSX 10.7.5). Any idea if this firmware update will be compatible with PT 10.3.7 and 11.0.2?

I don't know of any official word on this having been published but I haven't had any issues going back to 10.3.7 or 10.3.8, or any version of 11.0.x after updating HDX card firmware via 11.1.

The firmware update to the HDX card is OK in both PT11 and PT10.
I updated 5 systems with no issues.

Thank you all for the feedback. I expect testing was done in this regard and, like others' posts confirm, I've had no issues around the firmware update so I will work to get a statement added to the 11.1 info & downloads page.

Firmware update in my PT PC with OSX 10.7.5 was fast and painless.

I did test finally and can also confirm that it works in PT 10.3.7 and 11.0.2.

BTW, the new Pitch II plugin cannot be used in these earlier versions
