Default Can you disable mic pre? and SPDIF question

. I have been looking into a new interface and it seems to cover the things I need. I do have some questions.

1. I have a Great River mic pre and would like to use that instead of the included preamps. Is that possible? If so, how?

2. Also, I have an old Rosetta 200. I'd have to see how those converters compare with the MBox, but if they are better, I'm guessing I can just use the SPDIF in/out on the MBox and have the MBOX clock to the Rosetta 200. Does that sound right?

I am getting a I9 14th gen PC with 64gb and a ASUS Z90 Creator motherboard, so I am hoping that will help if there are any latency issues.

Thanks in advance for your help!

You would typically run the line output of the Great River pre to one of the
line inputs on the MBox Studio.

That sounds correct.

Seems like a good system. The MBox Studio driver is quite good and most
can achieve pretty low latency with it.
