Default Video Editing PT10/11
All links to the Complete Production Toolkit have gone dead at Avid. Existing CPTK licenses still work, but what if you are a new user?

How can a "new" PT10/11 user enable simple cut-paste-trim video editing on a NON-HD system? Clearly it's not a hardware issue, as previous licenses still work on non-HD hardware.

Has anyone figured out how to enable simple video editing functionality in PT10/11 for new licesees?

it is an HD or CPTK license unlock there, is no way to do it w/o the license

Nor does there seem to be a way to get a CPTK license nowadays.

Can anyone confirm that there is no way to buy a CPTK license today? It would seem to be true, based on all of the dead links referencing CPTK on the Avid site.

used marked, CPTK went away when 10 was taken off the market
or find a store with a NOS box

No official way, it was discontinued when PT11 was announced.

The only way is to find a used license from someone.
