Can I alter edit/mix window view more than one parameter at a time?

Can this be done, or do I still need to check one parameter, close the dropdown, do it again etc.....this seems so primitive. Sorry poorly worded question. I"m talking about the 'Edit window shows' drop down, where I choose whether i want to see input/auxes/comments etc.

Yes. It’s been possible for a while now.

IIRC, it was when they introduced plugin search. I think it was in one of the 2018 releases.

Not sure I understand the question. In the EDIT window, you can add as many lanes as you like to any track and collapse them all with a single command. The MIX window doesn't show much of anything(and nothing regarding automation). When it comes to plugins, you can have multiple plugins open, either by holding SHIFT when you open a plugin, or by hitting the little red target symbol on an open plugin(which works for audiosuite too). If you need that a lot, then check the manual on using window configurations

Personally I right-click on either "Insert A-E", "Send A-E" etc, and select wichever rows I want to see.

On a Mac: Open the dropdown, up/down arrow highlights whatever you want, space bar enables/disables, continue with the list open, no need to close and reopen.
