static in certain recordings
Pro Tools SE is a great tool for recording but sometimes when I record and replay, the thing I am replaying has a great amount of static and have to record it again. it has a dae error message. Does anyone have any idea why? Thanks for your time

you dont have to re record it....if you restart your computer you can listen to it right, but you will have to restart you computer after every recording....it pisses me off so much! i cant figure out how to fix it though.

Setting Preferences > Audio to "Mixing or Producing" even when recording may help with this issue.
