Universal Audio became official RTAS Avid's developer
What do u thing about this very exciting news:
http://www.airusersblog.com/home-pag...ersal-aud.html Seems like the recent Native move by Avid will benefit from a lot of development over RTAS plug ins. But what is left for HD systems? I try not to think about it but at this point seems inevitable, if RTAS plug in development is going to take over, what's is the point of investing on HD Core cards?

Beware the temperamental Universal Audio!
They're a RTAS developer now, but based on their track record, they'll stop. They're cyclic like that and you can pretty much rest assured that they'll screw you at some point.
