Protools10 Launch Problems
My system:
Win7Ultimate (32bit) Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.00GHz 4GB RAM Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 DSP When I launch Protools it will freeze up when it loads the plugins... however if I delete DAE Prefs before launching, I can launch Pro Tools normally. So, I have to delete my DAE Prefs every time I want to launch PT10. Any ideas on this? Thanks! |

Re: Protools10 Launch Problems
Try moving any non-Avid plugins out of the plugins folder. If that helps, drop them back in a few at a time and see if you can pinpoint the "bad" one. Maybe it needs an update. 2nd choice, reinstall the focusrite driver?

Re: Protools10 Launch Problems
Does this happen without the Pro 24 DSP connected?
If it seems to be down to the Pro 24 DSP please do get in touch with our support team: http://www.focusrite.com/answerbase/en/contact.php Chris Focusrite Support |
