Doin fine Andrew. Never even lost power here. The suns out and shining now believe it or not...and the ground is dry...dry enough to walk outside in my socks. We were lucky though...

been watching the news also on this end and it looks like the ocean has extended its self... wish i could find a site with more pics to check it out. You guys know of a good link? Heard that damn storm is still going slightly at a Cat 2 status yet...

It is comforting to know that our friends in the area are doing fine. This is one nasty storm and the degree of devastation wont be known for some time to come.
I feel terrible to all folks who are affected, and there are way too many. So, the thread is valid.. cheers,

thanks for the links guys... don't want to see anything like this happen to anyone anywhere, but the disaster is just so huge and I am not there first hand so I figured I might check it out.. good news is that I haven't seen too many death notices posted yet for the area, but they are saying power is going to be out for the remainder of the week and they are urging folks not to come back til then caus of poisonous snakes for some reason down there...
Chris: do you guys have poisonous snakes living down there man? didn't think that would be a real big thing down there, but of course that is that Louisiana Bayou deal and what not... hehe
