Default Hanging MidiNotes while recording CCs in PT12.3
Hi,

is anyone else getting hanging MidiNotes while recording CCs (like #11-expression) in addition to MidiNotes onto an instrument track ?
Especially with H/W buffer sizer lower than 1024 Samples ?

All was fine with recording midi in PT12.2. This started with the PT12.3 update ... at least on my Mac.

It is not in every session. It might be related to a combination of certain VIs ... donno yet - still investigating.
If you like, I could send you a PT-session where it is reproducible.

Have you noticed if this somehow is related to MIDI Merge being enabled? Does it make a difference?

Actually I'm getting the same thing....

Wasn't sure if it was a PT thing as I went straight from 10.3.4 to 12.3, but I am getting hung notes when I wasn't previously.

MIDI merge is generally switched on, and I'm generally writing CC1, 2 and 11

Hi,

It's still in PT12.4. Had it yesterday again while recording CC11 on top (merge on) of an already existing clip of an instrument track.

Any news from other users ?

This was happening for me too on 12.3 (w/Mac OS 10.8.5). MIDI Merge on, recording Mod Wheel CC1. Notes were hanging and/or not playing.

I've just installed 12.4 this week, will see if it's changed at all.

Still having the problem.
Any news from someone (maybe Avid support) ?
Is the bug found and will it be fixed ?
