Software version of Dubbing-Style "Matching" Meters?
Does anyone know of an app or a plug-in that performs the same function as the master metering on a DFC, Harrison or System 5? I mean the meters where the input is compared to the recorder, each channel side-by-side, so you can see very easily if the units are matching the recorder?
I don't think you could make a plug-in to do this, as the 5.1 or 7.1 you were trying to compare would have to be sourced from up to 16 buses, which I don't believe you can do in Pro Tools. Anyone who works in the Hollywood stages knows what I'm talking about. |
