Default Future CS Releases

Will all future 6.9 CS releases only be compatible with Tiger? Or will I be able to stay with panther? Right now I am still running 6.7 cs8 but I would like to go to 6.9, I just don't want to upgrade to tiger yet..

I would think that since 6.9.2 is now out, that cs's for 6.9 won't be coming anymore

Really what I am wondering is: will there be future "Panther" compatible CS releases for 6.9, or are they only going to be for the 6.9.2 "tiger" version.. Thanks...
