when you have made a stereo track of your song on PT's 10 and you want to send it to a friend by email how do you do it.Does it have to be an MP3 format?is it best to burn it to CD and then send it.

Or send it as an attachment, in mp3 format, in your e-mail.

Or soundcloud. They can download the full Wav version. And you can make it private so only they can hear it.

Another vote for Dropbox.
File format comes into play is when you have space limitations. MOST e-mail servers don't like to send (or receive!) large files, which makes an MP3 a more attractive option. Just use a nice, high bitrate like 256.

It doesn't have to be in any special place on your computer to send it as an email attachment - you just have to know where it is. The bigger problem is some email clients and isp's have a cap on file sizes for email attachments.
