you probably should look into getting a wav to mp3 converter/encoder....there are sites that offer a 10-15 day trial.....Before I found this method I also was tring to send a file thru the mail only to wait 10 minutes for the dang thang to say "FILE TOO BIG".....
check out this site

http://www.mthreedev.com/

scroll down to the bottom right (wav to mp3 encoder) and click the "download trial version"

hope this works for you potna

Why get a trial when there is free software:

Itunes can be used to convert wave to MP3

Audacity can with the LAME encoder. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Does Spundapp still work with modern Macs?

If you want to exchange uncompressed audio over the internet you can get free or cheap web hosting. Up load it to a non-public directory and give the password to your friend.

for sending files, there are several free sites out there like: yousendit for example that will allow you to upload a large file and send via e-mail to someone. Done sessions this way and it works fairly well. Just gotta watch out for it kicking out sometimes when you try to send the file, other than that its fine.
