Feature request: “Mute Record-Armed Tracks while Recording”

It would be great to have this feature included in the next update, for setups using Audio Interfaces with Direct Monitoring (for zero latency).

“Mute Record-Armed Tracks while Recording”

That feature has been available in Cubase and Nuendo for a long time.

I'm aware of several workarounds and I'm actually using one but it would be way easier having that option on the Preferences > Operation (Record) settings.

Close, but not the same. That's one of the workaround for Core Audio interfaces but not the same as just Muting the Input when Recording. You can't have the track set to a bus out and get LLM). But...

What I found out: First I set the track to a physical, unused, spare output (I called Bypass), then I "added" the bus output I'm using. That works perfect for me but it is not ideal. Please let me know if I missing something else here.

As per latest manual (p. 586) << Low Latency Monitoring
HD Native, 003, 003 Rack, 003 Rack+, and Mbox
Pro systems can use the Low Latency Monitoring
option to record with an extremely small amount
of monitoring latency, to as many tracks as each
system supports.
Likewise, certain Core Audio and ASIO audio interfaces that have a built-in mixer can use the Low
Latency Monitoring option.
Only tracks with inputs set to a physical output
(not an internal mix bus) use Low Latency Monitoring. >>
