Default basic PT question

Here’s the scenario - I import one track from PT session A into PT session B. Then in session B I consolidate the imported track. Now I close the session and delete session A from the hard drive. Every time I go to open session B, a dialog box opens asking me to locate the files that I originally imported from session A. Since I no longer need those files, how do I get the session to stop asking me to locate the original files?

Thanks

Greg Frey

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">You have to go to the audio regions list, select those files, and clear them from the session. It's a good practice to copy the sound files when you import tracks to avoid loosing track of audio files. In six months, you may not have the original session, or know which one you got the files from to open your session.

You can also remove unused files/region from the session to get rid of these files ( they are not in use in this session anymore, but still in play list).
