Do you have the Mbox2 Mini, Pro Tools 8.0(8.0.5) and Windows 7?
If so, can you PLEASE tell me if when you go to Programs, Avid, do you see a "Mbox2 Mini" control panel?
Also, can you tell me if you have a listing for "Mbox2 Mini" in your Windows control panel under Hardware and Sound? My issue is this: I have the Mbox2 Mini with Pro Tools 8.0.5 and Windows 7 and I have NO "Mbox2 Mini" listing in either area... Yet I can pull up control panels for Mbox, Mbox Mini and Mbox Pro that are listed in both of these areas... Can someone with this combination (or even a diff version of windows) PLEASE simply tell me what you have in these areas? Huge thanks if so...

I have swam on that page and many others like it only to conclude that there is only hardware drivers available for my hardware if I have Pro Tools 7.x. I have PT 8.0 w Win7 and as far as I can tell no additional drivers are listed.
If anyone can actually find and link drivers specifically for the "Mbox2 Mini" for use w Pro Tools 8 I will be more than impressed..

I decided today to experiment and simply remove the control panels listed in Programs, Avid.
I now have no Avid folder at all nor do I have a Mbox of any kind in the Hardware and Sound section of the Windows 7 control panel.... Yet I just opened PT and was able to not only see my specific Mbox2 Mini listed in Playback devices and in Hardware and I just got done successfully recording a vocal track. Seems the other control panels/drivers were just for the other versions of the Mbox that possibly came with the "family" USB driver pack I got at one point. Lucky me

Until months later when I attempted to use a Venom keyboard with PT..
Now, I get a error: "The ASIO sample rate is not supported by one of the USB interfaces! Please check your sync settings in the control panel." And I dont have a control panel for my Mbox to check what driver its using... Oy..
