Default LAME Import session data in LE

After working with the HD3 TDM version of PT I have to admit that the implementation of Import Session Data in LE is useless! Why even bother. I spend hours jotting down all my inserts per track and transferring them to other sessions that need the same or similar mix.

This is retarded! The TDM version is great and customizable, why not in LE???? C'mon, it's not that hard OR threatening to the TDM platform DIGI??

I agree with you, the HD import needs to be in LE too. What I do is after I mix the first song, I do a save as and call it template. Then I remove all the audio from that session so it's blank. Then I import all the tracks to the new session and move the audio from the old tracks to my importated new tracks. Saves tons of time but still not good enough IMO.

WOW this is exactly what i do at home on LE, still time consuming but worth it compared to manually resetting all the routings, plugin's, ect... but i do the same thing at work on my HD system, so i can't quite see what i am missing with the import session data in TDM? what are the differences? typically i save sessions in a "templates" folder and import tracks in TDM just like i do at home in LE. if there is a better way that i am missing out on, i would love to hear it!
although why i don't see the difference may be sw vers related - 6.4 LE on mac at home and 6.2 HD on PC at work...

On HD you can get it to match the tracks with the audio so it does the moves for you,it does a pretty good job if you label everything consistantley.
