Destructive Record Not Available
When I try to put my record rig into Destructive Record mode, the option is greyed out and I can not click it. Have never seen this before. None of our other identically spec'd systems have this issue. Is there a setting or preference that I'm missing?
Pro Tools Ultimate 2021.12 HDX 3 Avid MTRX Mac Pro 7,1 running Big Sur 11.6.3

Hmmm, could it have to do with disk allocation or disk permissions? In any case, I would just use regular record mode and do some "housekeeping" after the fact to control how bloated the sessions gets(but you may have reasons to need Destructive Record)

Welcome to the community.
Transport Record Lock in the Record section of Setup > Preferences > Operation is another thing that can disable Destructive Record.
