Default Air instrument expansion pack 2, upgrade worth it?

Hey is the Air instrument expansion pack 2 upgrade worth it?
I still have the version 1 stuff, and am not sure I can still get the
$99 upgrade price.
I'm on Mac OS 10.7.5, is the latest Protools 10 version 10.3.7
the best version? Or should I stay at 10.2? or something in between ?
Thanks!

It's worth it.

Loom alone is worth the price of the bundle. If you havent updated to the latest version (10.3.7, now) then you probably should. There are some Lion-related fixes in there.

Thanks guys! Just wanted to make sure it was a wise investment.
I was able to get all my info for Air so I can get the $99 upgrade
makes it even more of a no brainer.
And thanks mesone for the the pt version info, I haven't used Pt in a while or trolled the boards so that''s good to know as well.
Thanks again and happy composing!
PS
can't wait to start using transfusor again!

Very well worth it. You not only get some improvements and enhancements to the original 5 of the PTIEP but get Vacuum Pro and Loom as a bonus. Either one alone is worth the $99. Do it!

Hey Donald!

Long time no post huh

Have you got all those installers sorted out and can actually use all of the 7! instruments for $99 as that is what I would pay just for LOOM hehe MSRP of LOOM is $199 so imagine getting 6 more instruments for that half off from LOOM ... It is a no brainer even of the launch was a trainwreck

All the Best and let me know next time you are on a biz trip as I am waiting for Slate and Kush

Chris

For $99 it's definitley worth it. However I find the some of the NI VI's much more usable for what I'm doing.

Upgrade and never look back !! Works like a charm with Pro Tools 11 ... no errors whatsoever ... it's a real arsenal for your creativity and different styles of music production ... It did save a lot of headaches finding other instruments

He'll Yes. I stayed away for a long time. Couldn't pass up that deal. Transfuser alone is worth the price.
When downloading, you may want to get a good book to read☺️

I've got a new Macbook Pro running mavericks & PT11, which obviously doesn't run RTAS. Should I install the RTAS version anyway and the go in for the upgrade or is the upgrade a full installer?
